Fri 20th August - The Hopbine, Cambridgeshire

Through to the final so far are...
*SIREN*
With their funky rhythms and attention-grabbing tunes, Peterborough band Siren flew through their first heat. Singer Bex has a great rock voice, raw and smooth in just the right proportions. Whilst the band are modest and played down their skill but blew the crowd away.
*THE SUNSETS*
With just three acoustic instruments and a bass drum, and a lead singer with an unashamed English accent and earnest, heartfelt songs this band are not a million miles away from current folk idols Mumford & Sons. They played to a great crowd and won over more fans on the night to snatch victory.
